I FINALLY COLORED IT! The wait was only 8 months...ehh... that's not good.

Coming back to this after 8 months made me notice a lot of stupid mistakes I made (Sess/Kag isn't centered, a lot of strange anatomy choices) so there was some tweaking done to the lineart here and there (to the extent where I wouldn't have to completely redraw everything). I can't say I'm pleased with this at the end. Right now I am trying to focus more on my shading, but whenever I tried to be 'dynamic' with my shadows here it looked a mess. So I simplified it to keep myself happy. I treated this more like a page out of a coloring book and I had a fun time doing it

NOW ON TO THE IMPORTANT STUFF! LadyBattossai! LadyBattossai! LadyBattossai! I am incredibly picky in what I read in my fanfiction. As ridiculous as it sounds, I hold all of my fandoms to a high standard (ON THE INTERNET OF ALL PLACES?!). That being said: LadyBattossai is awesome. While I read other authors here and there, LadyBattossai and forthright are my favorites. If you've read Seven Feudal Fairy Tales and haven't checked out LadyBattossai since, you should totally check out Devour Prometheus and One .

Isn't she awesome?! I love dark!fics, and I like to think I inspired her to write DP, but I know I didn't, lol. We just talked about them a lot. ^^ Anywho, I'm glad to see this! The story seriously didn't get as much publicity as it should have, and it was ridiculously good. So original and well thought-out. And I'm glad that you've done this way after the story finished, because it makes you remember the story. I only wish post-fanart was more common! Very nice job with this!

Gorgeous. I love the color scheme; you definitely did the stories justice. You portrayed the characters even better than i Imagined in my head. I especially LOVE how you shaped Kagome's face and expression. - one of the best i've ever seen!!! (Since you love forthright to, I'd love to see you draw fanart for her as well. . . just a suggestion. It's always a pleasure to see favorite stories come to life!)
